Hi, all.

The closest people to me know that I love a good bookmarklet.

It started with someone blogpost, then Pedro Dias taught me some more and the list kept growing.

Clóvis Santos taught me how to create new Bookmarklets and now my folder in Google Chrome is even categorized.

Today I’ll share with you a quick way to check Favicon in a website the same way Google will see it in SERP’s (Search Engine Result Pages).

  1. right click in your Bookmarks bar
  2. click Add Page
  3. on page put whatever you will remember (like Favicon Checker)
  4. on URL put the code below and click save

javascript:void(window.open(%27https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?sz=32&domain=%27+window.location.href,%27_blank%27));

Now, whenever you want to check one domain (actually it is at the subdomain level) favicon, all you have to do is click on that bookmarklet.

It will show you something like this

Hope that helps!
